Nhuja Shakya is an upcoming visual artist from Kathmandu, Nepal. He is a graduate of Fine Arts from Kathmandu University School of Arts and Design. He is currently a freelance artist. Nhuja’s artworks include paintings and animations. The themes that appear in his artworks are of mental health, still life, landscapes, and manga. His medium of choices include oil painting, acrylics, watercolor, graphite, pen and ink, digital art, animation and photography. He experiments his medium of choice by testing the boundaries of fundamentals of arts in the particular medium. These include memory drawings, layering, brushworks, perspective and figure distortions.
